 The Roman Missal 

  • and additional chants have been pointed for use by lay ministers. The chants include: the sign of the cross, various forms of the greeting, Invitaion and conclusion to the Penitential Act, Penitential Act, forms II and III, the Lord's Prayer with its invitation, tone for the prayer after Communion, the final blessing and dismissal.
  • The appendix also includes a variety of hymns in Gregorian chant notation for use during the Order of Exposition and Benediction. These hymns include: Pange, lingua (Sing, My Tounge, the Hidden Mystery) with the appropriate verses for Tantum ergo in English and Latin, Sacris sollemnis (Let Our Joys Magnify Sacred Solemnities), Verbum supernum (The Word Proceeding from on High) with the appropriate verses for O salutáris Hóstia in English and Latin, Iesu, nostra redemptio (O Jesus, our Redeeming Lord), Æterne rex altissime (Eternal King and God Most High), Adoro devote, and Ubi caritas.
